Praise Center Church Of God In Christ
Theme for the year of 2021 A. D.

For many, 2020 was a difficult and trying year. Because of the pandemic that was raging throughout the land, over 300,000 lost their lives, while those that remained were confined to their homes for their safety. In spite of it all, God was true to His Word for Praise Center and He allowed us to ascend and SOAR. Through it all, God:

Increased our faith. We learned that “He is a very present help in trouble.”
Increased our trust. We saw Him keep His Word by “never leaving us nor forsaking us.”
Removed the limits. He showed us that He can do anything but fail and with Him “all things are possible.“
Strengthened our prayer lives. We spent more intimate time with Him.
Increased our service. We touched more lives through outreach.

After six years of ministry, we continue to make a difference on so many levels: 1) The #WeSERVE Pantry and Food Distribution continues to grow and bless the community; 2) We are in good standing in our church and with the government; and 3) We are Empowering Believers and Changing Lives. God showed us His power in 2020 and has positioned us for greater in 2021. Assuredly, wit the Lord on our side, the best is yet to come. In 2021, our focus and theme will be to:

Seize The Moment

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

To ever thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Car·pe Di·em – Used to urge someone to make the most of the present time and give little thought to the future. We will take every opportunity to Seize The Moment by

Making God our priority (Matthew 6:33)
Seeking greater intimacy with God (Jeremiah 29:13)
Understanding God’s will (Ephesians 5:15-17)
Giving God our best (Romans 12:1-2)
Trusting God’s Plans (Jeremiah 29:11; Proverbs 19:21)
Hearing AND doing God’s Word (James 1:22-25)

2020 has proven that life is short and tomorrow is not promised, so I encourage you to join us as we Seize The Moment in 2021. We WILL Empower Believers. We WILL Change Lives. We WILL be the Place Where Praise Evolves. We WILL SEIZE THE MOMENT!
