Thought
Who orders your steps . . . friends, the latest fashions, soap opera or television stars, the latest eletronic gadgets or social media? Each of the aforementioned items will consistently fail you and leave you ripe for devastating mistakes. But when we allow God to order our steps, He promised to never leave us (Deuteronomy 31:8), He reminded to keep us from falling (Jude 24), and He promised to meet our needs (Philippians 4:19). Order my steps, Lord!
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, thank you for being consistently faithful. When family and friends turn away, you're always there, even when I've done wrong. Thank you for your patience. I have not always wanted your direction, but as I've matured in Christ, I can now appreciate how you've changed my life around. Being holy and acceptable is now my heart's desire. Oh what a wonderful change you have made in me. Thank you! In Jesus Name, Amen.
