Praise Center COGIC welcomes you to join us on September 18, 2016 at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm where we will celebrate Lady Yolinda McCown during our Inaugural First Lady Day Celebration. Not only will we honor her labor of love at Praise Center, but we will celebrate her birthday as well. Our guest speaker will be Evangelist Naomi Kim Thomas of Portsmouth, Virginia. The theme for this momentous occasion is “The Worshiper In Me” from John 4:23-24.
1 Timothy 5:18 tells us that the “laborer is worthy of his reward” and Lady McCown truly labors here at Praise Center. First ladies wear multiple hats; but Lady McCown does so much more. She serves in the following capacities: Christian Education Coordinator, Minister of Music, Teacher (Sunday School, Purity, YPWW), and Finance Team Leader. Even at a young age, Lady McCown is the epitome of a Titus 2 Woman and is a great example of a holy woman to the ladies at Praise Center. She then finds time to be a wife, mother and daughter, along with serving on the District, Jurisdictional and National levels of this great church with a spirit of excellence. Lady McCown is truly a phenomenally phenomenal woman!
