Prayer Focus: Submission to God
Daily Prayer Line (7:00 – 7:15 a.m.) – 515.739.1030 x324-346-203
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” Romans 12:1-2

Thought
Our "Turn The World Upside Down" Revival with Elder J. Kyle Nicholson in September 2016 was a life-changing event. He affirmed that "being holy was the bare minimum that God expects from His people." We often struggle with doing the least and God is looking for us to do more. It shouldn't take much to motivate us to strive for excellence in holiness and submit completely to Him. God deserves our best because He gave His only begotten Son (John 3:16) and because He gave us a second chance (1 Peter 2:9). As we offer ourselves to Him and refuse to reflect the image of the world, His will becomes even more clear to us and with the Spirit's help, we are daily transformed into His image (2 Cor. 3:18) as we reflect His character (Gal. 5:22-23).
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, we thank you for being the God of mercy and favor. Thank you for the blood that was shed for the remission of my sins. I surrender all to you. Not my will, but let thy will be done in my life. I need you more and more every day. I offer you my all this day. You deserve my best! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
