Pride and excuses can be a deadly combination in the life of the Believer. Pride cometh before destruction and excuses causes you to choose the wrong priorities. In college, I learned this poem and I still believe it today.
Excuses. Excuses are the tools of the incompetent. They build monuments of nothingness. And those that dwell upon are seldom good for anything at all. Excuses.
Don’t allow excuses to get the best of you.
