Bible Study Lesson – July 8, 2020 ~ 7:30 pm
Lesson 8: A Wearied God (Malachi 2:17)
Questions:
- In the first dialog (1:2-5), God expressed his Love for His people and bring vengeance on those that commit injustice. Are you committed to justice?
- In the second dialog (1:6-2:9), God focuses on the religious leaders and how they committed injustice towards Him. Are you committed to worshiping God with your entire being?
- In the third dialog (2:10-16), God condemns His people’s lack of loyalty. Do you struggle with being loyal to God? If so, how can you change that?
- Are you wearying God by your actions?
Preparation
Today is the opening line of the fourth “argument” between God and His people. After outlining His first three arguments, God told them He was wearied. Have you taken God for granted? Have you treated Him poorly in spite of the many blessings He pours out daily? Do you question God’s decisions and plans? Remember, our life is in God’s Hands and He knows what’s best for us. You can trust Him and count on Him! Don’t be weary in well doing (Galatians 6:9).
