Lesson 1: New Cloth + New Wineskins (Mark 2:18-22)

Preparation
These passages are set during Jesus’ ministry in Galilee, the region where he grew up. The Pharisees, who asked the question that leads to him telling these parables, were big on procedure, particularly when it came to the laws in Exodus to Deuteronomy. As you review this lesson, make sure you use the steps to interpret the parable: Passage, Parameters, Problem, Progression, Presentation, Point, Program, and Particulars.
