It is with great pleasure that Praise Center Church Of God In Christ welcomes you to our 2nd Annual Pastoral Anniversary as we celebrate our pastor for two years of ministry and favor on October 6, 7, and 9, 2016. Our theme for this celebration is “There Is A Higher Calling” from Philippians 3:13, 14.
Almost two years ago, God impressed upon the heart of Elder Eugene C. McCown, Jr. to launch out and plant Praise Center Church. After two years of ministry, we are on the move for God doing a great work in the Town of Dumfries, Virginia and we know that this is just the beginning! As God’s anointing continues to run down Aaron’s beard, we expect to do even greater things to the glory of God.
Now is the time to say to this faithful servant, “keep the faith,” “move forward,” “congratulations,” and to show your appreciation and love for a leader that serves with excellence in the District, Jurisdiction, and National levels of the Church Of God In Christ. All are welcome to join us!
Thursday, October 6th | 7:30 PM
Pastor Floyd Hawkins and Shiloh Church Of God In Christ will be our special guests to initiate our celebration. The Shiloh Church of God in Christ has been called to proclaim the gospel message for the whole man, which includes the spiritual, the physical, the mental, the economical, and the social.

Friday, October 7th | 7:30 PM
Pastor Andie Cork, Sr. and Mt. Peniel Church Of God In Christ will be our special guests. Pastor Cork was ordained an elder in the Church Of God In Christ in 1995. Elder Cork was called into the pastoral office in 1997 while serving under the leadership of then Elder Tony H. Campbell pastor of the “Yeshua” Church Of God In Christ.

Sunday, October 9th | 4:00 PM
Superintendent Tony H. Campbell and Yeshua Church Of God In Christ will be our special guests. Supt. Campbell is Pastor and Founder of “Yeshua” Church Of God In Christ (C.O.G.I.C.). “Yeshua” is Hebrew for “JESUS” Christ Our Savior. He accepted the call to Pastor after much prayer and fasting. On July 5, 1987 “Yeshua” first opened its doors as a Bible Study with 13 members in attendance. And the Lord added to the church such as should be saved.
