It is with great pleasure that Praise Center Church welcomes you to our 6th Annual Pastoral Anniversary as we celebrate our pastor for six years of ministry and favor on October 11, 2020 and October 25, 2020. Our theme for this celebration is “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” from Proverbs 2:6-8.
Almost six years ago, God impressed upon the heart of Elder Eugene C. McCown, Jr. to launch out and plant Praise Center Church. In these six years, God has blessed Praise Center to continue to be a community church that serves almost 50 families (over 300 people) per month, provides computer-based training and resources via its six (6) seat Computer Lab, and partners many other community-based organizations. We are on the move for God doing a great work in the Town of Dumfries, Virginia! As God continues to provide, we expect to do even greater things to the glory of God.
Now is the time to say to this faithful servant, “keep the faith,” “move forward,” “congratulations,” and to show your appreciation and love for a leader that serves with excellence in the Local, District, Jurisdictional, and National levels of the Church Of God In Christ. All are welcome to join us!

Bishop Robert G. Rudolph, Jr. and the Calvary Church Of God In Christ will virtually be our special guests for our celebration. Bishop Rudolph is the Prelate of the St. Maarten Rehoboth Jurisdiction and the Adjutant General of the Church Of God In Christ. Calvary Church Of God In Christ is located in Malvern, Arkansas.

Elder Roderick Rose of St. Stephen’s Church Of God In Christ in Virginia Beach, Virginia will be our special guest.
Sunday, October 25th | 5:00 PM
Bishop Marc A. Thomas, Sr. and the New Community Temple Church Of God In Christ will be our special guests for our celebration. New Community Temple is located in Portsmouth, Virginia.
All guests are welcome on-site for all three services. We will be following CDC Guidelines and social distance guidance.
