The Bible is filled with many conditional statements. If my people (2 Chronicles 7:14), if you confess with your mouth (Romans 10:9), and if any man be in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) to name of few. Each promise is contigent upon both parties satisfying their part of the agreement. God has never failed to do His part, even when we've failed to fulfill our part. His conditions are always attainable because He helps us to accomplish every task (Philippians 4:13). Are you fulfilling your pledge(s) to Christ? The results of obedience are guaranteed, just as the results of disobedience. I urge you to trust Him today!
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, thank you for being willing to make agreements with me. I know that I have not always kept my side of the agreement, but I thank you for always being consistent with me. Your love is never failing and as a result, I can walk in my destiny in spite of my past failures. Help me to obey you so that your promises will be fulfilled in my life! In Jesus Name, Amen.
