Thought
If you could ask for anything in the world, what would it be? Some would ask for riches. Others would ask for prestige. But Solomon asked for wisdom and because of this selfless act, God blessed him with wisdom and so much more. If we seek God's will first, God will do the same and give us everything that our hearts desire (Matthew 6:33).
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, I thank you because all good things come from you. Whatever I need, I know that I can find it in you. But help me to ask for the right things. I don't want anything that will bring me harm or cause harm to others. I don't want anything that will hinder me from putting you first. Help me to see you first in everything that I do. In Jesus Name, Amen.
