Thought
Hezekiah Walker and the Love Fellowship Choir had a hit song called "Power Belongs to God." There is nothing too hard for our God and He has promised to equip us with everything that we need and more. Power to walk right. Power to talk right. Power to live right. Power to act right. And because of Him, nothing can hurt us and nothing can defeat us. If you have not tapped into this power, I urge you to get right with God now. Seek Him while He may be found (Isaiah 55:6). His power never runs out and He has enough power to empower us all.
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, thank you for being the source of my strength and the strength of my life. Thank you for not allowing my enemies to triumph over me. Help me to not rejoice when others fail around me, but help me to keep my focus on pleasing you so when others see me in victory, they'll only see you. In Jesus Name, Amen.
