Thought
I really loathe hearing voicemails. When I call someone, I want to talk to them immediately, which is why I called in the first place. When I get the voicemail, I become frustrated because I want that person's attention at that very moment. On the otherhand, when I don't want to talk to someone, I often send them to voicemail to avoid them. I'm glad that God is not like me. Whenever we call God, He's always there. His phone is never busy. He never sends us to voicemail. He always answers. I'm glad tht He never breaks His promises!
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, thank you for being so good to me. In desperation, you're there. In good times, you're there. Thank you for always being ready to hear my pleas and my cries. Thank you for being willing to hear my voice when I call out to you and thank you for always answering. I'm glad that I belong to you. You are a good God! In Jesus Name, Amen.
