“And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him that filleth all in all.” Ephesians 1:22-23

Thought
Who do you trust with your most important possessions? Not everyone can preach from my pulpit. Not everyone can drive my car. Things that are important to me are not given out frivolously. Those that I trust have complete access to things that are important to me. We, the church, are the apple of God's eye (Zechariah 2:8). He gave his best for us (Romans 8:32). Why would He trust us to anyone else besides Jesus, the one who fulfills all our hopes, all of needs, and all our desires? Don't put your trust into things/people that will fail, but put your trust into the hands of the one that God trusts. Jesus is head of God's most prized possession, which is His church!
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, I'm overwhelmed by your love. From the beginning to the end your love never changes and never fails toward me. Thank you for giving me your best. Daily I will endeavor to give you my best. Thank you for your love. Thank you for strength. Thank you for protection. Thank you! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
