"I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." I Timothy 2:1-2

Thought
How often do you pray for your leaders? My good friend Elder Dexter Hedgepeth recently relayed a story from our recent Holy Convocation. One of our leaders became ill after speaking and was rushed to the hospital. Once service ended, only a handful remained to pray and intercede on behalf of the sickened leader. Crowds gathered to hear him preach, but only a handful gathered to pray while he was down. What are you doing to encourage your leaders? What are you doing to uphold their arms? They are under tremendous attack from the enemy, so let's take time to pray for them, their families, and their ministries. It's the least we can do to support those that invest so heavily into our lives.
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, help me to do all that I can to encourage my leaders. Thank you for those that have rule over me. I know that I don't always understand everything that they do, but you do, and they are under your charge. Lead me to pray for them throughout the day. Bless their finances. Bless their homes. Bless their families. Bless their ministries. Enlarge their territories and anointed them for this day and time. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
