Thought
I'm not sure how He did it, but Jesus bore the weight of the world on His shoulder while hanging on Calvary's cross. My sin, your sin, and our sin, was upon Him so that we would not have to pay the price for our transgressions. As horrible and brutal as His sacrifice was, we find our healing, deliverance, and peace because of it. What a mighty God we serve. He did this for me!
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, I can't help but to say thank you over and over again because of what you've done for me. Jesus was pierced, crushed, and punished so I can be reclaimed by you. Let me not forget the cost of your great love. Constantly stir in me the memory of your redemptive grace that looks beyond my faults and sees my needs. Again, thank you! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
