Thought
I know that I'm not alone, but I don't like being attacked. But when the devil attacks, the Lord rises to defend His own (Isaiah 59:19). Phil Ware of Heartlight.org says "out of the attacks of evil come the victories of God and the victory chants of God's people." Don't fret when storms rise, it's just God's notice that it's time to go a little bit higher. Victory is guaranteed because we're on the winning team. God is our refuge and our strength (Psalm 46), a source of security and hope in times of trouble.
Prayer
Most Gracious and Heavenly Father, thank you for being a great God. I have confidence knowing that whatever the enemy throws my way, you're able to protect me, deliver me, and take me higher. You're indescribable, uncontainable. A great God that is worthy to be praised and adored. Thank you for being you! In Jesus' Name, Amen.
